For a moment the raven pondered on that. He knew all who could give information, and how even they obtained it. In the end, everything came back to Izaya at every turn. He truly did have the perfect grasp on Ikebukuro. “Maybe you’re right. But isn’t it always the most enjoyable?” He asked, giving his shoulders a shrug and shoving his hands into his pockets. “By the way, how are your after school activities going? I hope you’re keeping up to date with them.” Of course if he wasn’t the informant could always step in and take over for awhile, like he’d been doing for the past week or so. Kanra definitely had some leverage over the Dollars after all.

The fact that everything seemed to revolve around the informant made Mikado.. well, uncomfortable if nothing else. Knowing that most things were accountable to him, most of the bad in their lives, just caused the dark emotions he always tried to suppress to emerge without fail, just at the thought of it all. Who knows, he said, not particularly agreeing, but making no move to show that. Mikado frowned, seemingly put out by the man’s question, though he moved on easily. Everything is fine. The usual, I guess – though I’m sure that you knew that as well. Nothing much got past him, especially in the Dollars. It was hard to hide something from someone who was so invested.
