His words that came stuttering out only made the female laugh yet again, her effeminate hysterics played unashamed as they both continued to walk along the dusty pavements,”because…” She muttered softly, her speech trailing away as she pondered to conjure up some sort of acceptable answer— because lets face it, she probably didn’t have any reason to take him somewhere like her home, even the little kidnapping incident was uncalled for.
“Because… I need a husband?” A misbehaved grin sparkled along her features, of course it was all just fun and games, a simple joke! Her hand flying up, patting the Mikado by the back, “Relax, Relax Mikado-kun, I’m kidding~!"
She made a last turn, before they’ve finally reached their second destination, “here.” Kanra replied, turning to face the blue eyed teen, “here, hold this.” and she gives him her bag full of cellphones they recently bought, “Stay here.” and without anymore explanation, the woman leaves the boy behind to go inside the grocery store— if he runs away then, she’ll just have to run after him right? She doesn’t mind, though punishments would be followed.
She took her time, almost half an hour before Kanra returned with plastic bags of nicknacks— she really wasn’t a ‘cook for a proper dinner’ type, almost always feeding on junk."Heeeelp me—— -” The girl whined, pulling up the bags, it wasn’t at all heavy, if she could carry a middle schooler, then this shouldn’t be a problem, still— why not?
That wasn’t a good enough reason to drag him back to her house, Mikado thought. As time passed with the woman, a dejected feeling began overwhelming him as though this was the end of his days and he would no longer be able escape from Kanra’s grasp. Perhaps he wouldn’t, actually – and the thought of that just made him feel even worse, no matter how much he had already accepted it.
Forcing himself past his shocked stupor at her answer, he said, “—you can marry someone else!” First of all, he was underage and second, was definitely not ready to marry anyone, kidnapper or otherwise. “… O-Okay, good,” What a relief.
Mikado took the bag, shuffling uncomfortably at the fact that he was holding something that was full of stolen goods. He could only hope that no one had noticed yet and no one had been called in to come after the thief. Being the only one caught holding them definitely wouldn’t be a good thing, nor would it help him in his future or the now and his school career—which was slowly going down the drain anyway…
By the time she came back, the teen had laid the two bags down by his feet and was leaning against the closest solid, watching the door intently for when she came out.
With another sigh, he picked up the bags on the ground and transferred them to one hand. The other he held out in askance, gesturing at the bags she held. “I’ll carry them..”
